The Friends of the Seneca Falls Library will hold a Spring Book Sale just in time to stock up for your spring and summer reading in the hammock.
The Book Sale is scheduled for Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days at the Seneca Falls Library, 47 Cayuga Street. The Book Sale will have thousands of selections! New and used books (fiction/nonfiction for adults & children), tapes, audio books, records, software, CDs, games, posters, and puzzles are sold inexpensively. Come and find a treasure!
The price on the books changes with the day. On the first day hardcover books will cost $1 and paperbacks $.50. In the morning of the second day, all books will cost $.50 and in the afternoon they will be sold for $1 per grocery store bag. Reference books and textbooks are free. Come in and fill your shelves.
In addition to the Book Sale, the Friends will be offering a bake sale so you can purchase a sweet treat to enjoy while you are reading. The baked goods will be available along with the book sale, same location, same time.
Friends of the Seneca Falls Library is a not-for-profit organization for people interested in books and libraries. The purpose is to stimulate interest in the library, purchase library materials, and support other cultural and educational programs in Seneca Falls. Volunteers and new members are always welcome. Come help us sort books, we are friendly and need all the hands we can get. Sorting takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20 through Thursday, March 22.
