Summer Reading, Music and Theater Fun!
Reading and Theater Camp at the Seneca Falls Library
Sign up at the library today!
The children's Summer Reading and Theater Camp begins Monday, July 10, and will include reading and theater fun! We will read and join in acting classes for the first week. The second week will kick off with a Reading Festival on Monday, July 17, that includes the Nancy Curvin Playground Players and a picnic lunch. Theater fun then takes over for the rest of the week followed by our production in collaboration with the Seneca Community Band.
Pat Collins, Children's Theater Director and Hobart and William Smith Colleges professor, will help us hone our theater skills. Karen Lucas, the director of the Community Band, will assist with our stage presence and our production. Mary Catt, the Seneca Falls Children's Librarian, will find us good stories to read.
The fun begins Monday, July 10, through Thursday July 13, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and again, Monday, July 17 from 9 a.m.-noon, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a grand finale on July 21 at 7 p.m. in a production at Mynderse Academy.
This portion of the Summer Program is for children entering grades two through six.
For tots through children entering first grade, the Seneca Falls Library will host a Summer Story Hours featuring Aesop's Fables and other animal tales on Wednesday mornings beginning July 19, 26 and August 2 at 9 a.m.
It will be a happy and fun-filled summer at the Seneca Falls Library. Come join us!
